In practice
Rules that don't bend
A business that asks nicely, offers a discount, or gets upset doesn't get a different set of rules. A review can't be deleted because it's inconvenient, and a listing can't be reordered because someone paid more. If staff catch a business writing its own reviews, or paying for fake ones, the listing gets suspended — not warned twice.

Right now, nothing — listing, claiming and verifying a business is free for every business at launch. When a paid tier eventually arrives, it will add things like review analytics and more prominent badge placement — it will never be the difference between a business being ranked, verified, or having its reviews shown.

Safeguards
Protecting the record, not just publishing it
A review only matters if the platform carrying it is being watched too. Trustkie leans on three things working together — automated detection, an active community, and staff who actually look — so the record stays honest, not just live.
Technology
Every review runs through Trustkie's automated detection system before it's published. A reviewer's contact details are kept separate from the review itself and never shown publicly, no matter what the review says.
Community
Consumers and businesses can flag a listing or a review that looks wrong. If two people claim the same business, staff resolve it — ownership goes to whoever can actually prove it.
People
Staff review every application, every verification request, and every flagged review by hand. A business that keeps breaking the rules gets suspended, not just warned twice.

Can a business remove a bad review?
No. Reviews stay public once they're published. The only thing that comes down is content that breaks an actual policy — fake, abusive, or off-topic — and that's decided by staff, not by whether the business is upset.
Does paying get a business a better badge, or better ranking?
No. Verification is free. There's no paid tier today that changes a badge, a ranking, or a review.
