About Trustkie
Trustkie didn't start as a plan to fix trust in Nepal's shopping, beauty and repair markets. It started as a general reviews platform — and the first version taught us something we didn't expect: not every category has a trust problem worth solving. Some already have Google Maps and TripAdvisor doing that job well, and the decision a review is supposed to de-risk is often low-stakes and easy to reverse.
So we changed the question. Instead of asking where people already leave reviews, we asked where Nepali consumers are making real, high-stakes decisions with almost no way to verify who they're dealing with — an Instagram seller who might not ship, a repair shop that might overcharge, a tutor with no track record to check. That's the gap Trustkie exists to close: a public record neither side can quietly edit.
Our mission
Give both sides a real record
Give Nepali consumers a real, public basis for deciding who to trust — and give honest businesses a way to stand out from the bad actors in their own category. A public record neither side can quietly edit.
Our vision
The first place anyone checks
Long term, we want Trustkie to be the first place anyone in Nepal checks before trusting a business they don't know — the same reflex people already have for checking reviews, built for the categories where it actually matters.
Our promises
What we won't do
Never for sale
Verification and ranking can't be bought. A badge means the same thing for every business that has one.
Never deleted
Reviews stay public and permanent, good or bad. No quiet edits, ever.
Never scraped
Every listing is a real decision — by staff, a business, or a customer. Never a guess.
Never generic
Kathmandu-first and Nepali-ready. Not a global template with a local coat of paint.
